Ritu M. Rao, DDS

When a person brings enthusiasm, warmth and a sense of humor along with their expertise while serving people, they can't help but earn their trust no matter what walk of life. This is what Dr. Rao believes in, and has accomplished in her practice.

Dr. Ritu Rao attended the University of Florida, Gainesville, where she graduated with Honors, earning a bachelor's degree in Microbiology. She then pursued her postgraduate studies in Texas, finishing her dental degree at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas.

Soon after, Dr. Rao made her home right here in Dallas. In her practice, she is a strong proponent of a conservative philosophy with great emphasis on prevention and long-term benefits to all those she serves. Three words that describe it best are: contemporary, conservative and comprehensive.

Dr. Rao's professional memberships include the Dallas County Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. She has also taught in the pre-dental programs as an associate instructor at Baylor College of Dentistry.

Dr. Rao and her husband are parents to two wonderful children and their sweet Golden retriever. She enjoys the company of family and friends, traveling, running, cooking and reading. Diana
- Front Desk

Diana is a Hoosier by birth. Born and raised in Indiana, she started working in dentistry in 1970. She married in 1974 and moved to Texas. Her husband, John, is a psychologist, and they have a lovely daughter, Megan, who teaches 2nd grade in Houston.

Over the years, Diana has had the opportunity to work in oral surgery, periodontics, and general dentistry. Her expertise is in dental office administration, namely billing and insurance.

Diana likes to crochet and cook in her spare time.

Michell
- Registered Dental Assistant

Michell has worked in the dental field for over 23 years and has experience with several different responsibilities. She started in the front office and managed an office for four years. For over 19 years now, she has assisted, which is the job she prefers. Michell is a certified and registered dental assistant and is also a member of the American Association of Dental Assistants. When it comes to dentistry, she can answer nearly any question. One of Michell's talents is her ability to welcome each person into our office as if it were her home and make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed.

A Dallas native, Mitchell has been married to Darren for 18 years. They have two wonderful children, Julia and Jacob.

Jackie
- Registered Dental Hygienist

Jackie is a graduate of Baylor College of Dentistry, where she received a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene in 1985. She has varied experience as a hygienist, even working in Neuchatel, Switzerland. Jackie is known for her gentle touch and compassionate approach to care.

Originally from Ennis, Jackie has two teenagers, Ann and Will. Will goes to school at A&M and Ann attends Dallas Academy. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys running 5ks with her daughter, as well as working out, cooking, and spending time with her husband, Wilson. Jackie also volunteers in the mentoring program at Texas Youth Commission and teaches Bible study on Sunday mornings. If she has any free time left after that, she enjoys watching college football and the Dallas Cowboys!

Tambi
- Registered Dental Hygienist

After graduating from Midwestern State University in 1998, Tambi moved to Dallas. She joined our practice in 2008. She not only comes with wonderful dental skills, but with a personality to match.

Tambi married her husband, Mark, in October 2008, and they enjoy traveling and watching college football. Tambi also enjoys cooking, shopping, going to concerts, and watching scary movies. She and Mark are eager to start a family of their own.
